is coming to us soon! Our little one needs to be spayed first and then we get her on Wed. She's a mixed bred, so I'll post pics as soon as I have her all bathed and ready for her close-up. Then you guys can tell me what you think she's mixed with! She's pure sugar; a real sweetie.

Syd gave me Rachael Yamagata. I wish. So yes, thank you for letting me go through all Rachael's music again, as if I needed a reason.

You'd think this quite easy. But it is Rachael and lo and behold her majesty rules my heart. I'll find this incredibly difficult.

This year marks 60 years of an event called the Azalea Festival. This usually happens somewhere around my birthday. This time it's April 11th-15th. They choose a queen and usually two music performers. So far our queen hasn't been announced but two music performers have. Sara Evans and Michael McDonald. I got kinda revved up about McDonald because his voice is so rich and soulful. I decided I wanted check him out. But----then I thought I'll go check out some of our other local venues and see who's playing. Much my surprise, someone I've always wanted to see is coming to South Carolina. It's not a band but Lily Tomlin. Seeing Michael McDonald or seeing Lily? Not a hard choice for me. It's Lily hands down! So I now have 10th row tickets and we CAN take pictures. I'm just glad I caught it when I did because it's clearly gonna be sold out.

It's gonna be a long day tomorrow. I have to cover 9-9:30. Right now I'm wide awake. I've already been to bed. My mind was racing like crazy and I had to get back up.

A friend left the perfect message for me in her blog on myspace. I do so loathe that place at times but there are still people there I so adore.

I feel I'm running behind on Christmas shopping and well it's mainly because it's true. I've gotten so little done.

I just remembered I didn't complete that location style meme for Anne though I got a pretty good start on it when I did work on it. She said no rush but I'm sure she would've liked to have had it by now. It's stuck in my Outlooks drafts at the moment.

That's about it. I have to make myself o lie down. I'll end up sick if I don't get some sleep before a long shift. I'll be one woman with 5 men tomorrow. Ick. I hate bossing around men. They tend to turn into boys when I have to get tough with them. 'I Need a Hero.' just for tomorrow.

So leave me a little love if you have time. I won't see it until Thursday any way. But it would be appreciated since I won't be able to be on here playing with everyone like I wish. I feel like I'm missing out.

We'll be participating in a Toys For Tot bike run. Should be fun. It'll be a thrill to see all these motorcycles riding around town. Everyone donates a toy so that's cool. I've been stretched a little thin with time and money so I was unable to do the usual donations. I'm still trying to do what I can. I firmly believe you'll end up with nothing if you never give back. And besides...it is one of the greatest feeling in the world to do something for someone else.
