Work was so much better today than it has been the last couple of weeks. I actually sold a $600.00 wicker basket trunk. Can you freaking imagine having cash to throw down on something like that? Spur of the moment? Umm not likely. But I think it must be a nice feeling. Staff has been on top of things lately. Big change. All these baby steps might add up to something after all. So far so good. Structure and discipline must be the key. I can see that if I push hard enough I get results and not only that, they see what they can actually do when they apply themselves. I may have to pony up for pizza on Monday if we see positive numbers. I don't mind. I'll buy them pizza every week if that's what it takes! lol

I spied the new TV Guide pics. I think it's on the Feb 27-Mar 5 issue.The cover is George Eads, Marg and Gary Dourdan. The pics even have a shot of Nick and Catherine sharing a kiss, a throw back pic of Gary and Marg in Keys, Warrick, Catherine and Gris at a scene, the drainpipe scene where Gary and Marg are nose to cute nose, and last but not least, a trio of George, Gary and a vamped up Marg in a mock crime scene. Vamped up.
TV Sucks. I'm watching Survivor and well no one jumps out at me right now. No one to root for. Oh well. Hope that gets better as it goes on. Alias is drab. I'm tired of it. I really don't feel the Vaughn/Sydney thing at all. So watching a show that seems to rely on it really sucks. Yes, I think it's gone to hell in a hand basket without Lena Olin's Mom there to add real intensity and less lollypop sugar. Yes, yes sex sells but Mom can actually rock that show without the sexual aspect. That says something imo. Of course I own all the DVDs. That's the silly collector in me I guess.
Just wanted to add, Nina Hagen hasn't changed very much. Still out of this world and unlike anyone I've ever heard. Thanks for sharing her with me. It was nice to hear her again!
