It's never the same as it used to be. I guess you lose some of the magic once you grow up and find yourself surrounded by less and less loved ones. Well I raise a toast to all of you no longer with us here but residing in our hearts. Granny, Roger, Mary-Ellen, John, Grandma, Buck, Tommy and Peggy. It will take some getting used to. We welcome a baby girl, a baby boy and triplets(two boys and a girl)into our brood! May we all continue to be blessed.

Everything worked out well. Looks like we did perfect in the gift department. We nailed a few family members down whereas in the past we had trouble finding the right gifts. We have a gorgeous light hanging over our pool table courtesy of my mom and dad. Yes, lord I am shocked they got our color scheme right. Makes me feel better than she didn't try to force her choice on us. She calls my home very traditional and it bothers the hell outta me. Why? Guess I think traditional means safe. No risk. No style. She says I should paint a wall red. lol No. Not that I don't love red. Don't get me wrong. I just don't want it on my walls. I'll just take it on my cars, clothes and blankets, and home accents.

Oh and one little girl was paticularly thrilled to see a trampoline in our backyard. My God those things rock so hard! I couldn't stay off it! I'll have to be careful cos it'll probably be me that breaks something!

Still not over this cold and I'm miserable right now. I did have today off which was nice. Have to go in earlier than usual but that doesn't bother me much. Had too much going on to rest like I've needed so that's why I'm still sick I suppose.

This weather is all wind and rain. Pretty icky and cold. It's about 32° right now and should get to around 23° tonight.
