Yesterday was strange. Took forever to drag myself out of my cozy little bed. I was all wrapped up. Snug as a bug as they say. Watching a horrible Lifetime movie. Yeah I mean it was bad. But I watched it half-assed until I was supposed to be gone for work. Then called and said I needed more time. I was just not ready. But they were slow and said don't worry about it. So I went in later. I just had so much to do. When I got there my voice was gone. I mean it just left me. So I ended up hand signaling everything I wanted or needed. The voice comes and goes. I'm dizzy as hell and as far as my head goes it doesn't hurt. So no headache. I

When I read my entries for the last couple of days I can see that I'm not focusing very well. I see the mistakes. Overlook me people.

Like I said I have today off and Sunday! Whoo hoo! So out I go to buy some jewelry! It's on sale for about 3 more hours so I gotta get moving!

Besides feeling sick I'm feeling real at peace right now in some ways. Settled. Not so scattered as usual. Which is weird since I've been talking about my dad so much lately. That always sends me reeling in the wrong direction. I get this way every major holiday. I wonder if I'll ever get over this? But do you ever get over being forgotten? Being discarded? Amazing what a greeting card can do. Simply some sentiment that you sign, that you didn't write but mailed to someone you didn't forget. Peaceful. I am still peaceful. Just ever so reflective on how things are and how they should be. I guess peaceful is inaccurate, maybe I'm conflicted or bothered but easing my way into better things.

I have a "tie-in" to Catherine of course. Okay not really. But she has a pretty scarf doesn't she? Okay so it isn't a scarf, so what? lol But Catherine would look great with it as well.
